Here’s a short preview on SMK Matang Jaya’s Robotics Team a.k.a MJROBOTICS.

It was established in 2005, and was then called the Robotics Club.  Since I took over in 2007, I have changed it to be more competition oriented by requesting the club to be only open to a selected group of students, as I saw there was lack of equipment, and a huge number of students makes it difficult for the club to focus on results in the National Robotics Competition (NRC).

Today, MJROBOTICS remains with its ‘selected students‘ policy, despite the Education Ministry’s policy of grounding all the ‘exclusive’ extra curricular extivities, which unfortunately includes Robotics.  I always regard MJROBOTICS as an elite team, and I hope that this website, altough personal would serve as a historical reference and also a place where other’s will get to know MJROBOTICS.
