Remarks:
MJROBOTICS breezed through the Samarahan Sub Zone NRC, and was selected to compete in the Sarawak NRC for the 3rd time in a row. This years’ competition for the Open category is divided into two, namely the upper and lower category. MJROBOTICS fared very well in the lower secondary category when it won all the awards in competition. Team Predator has also been selected to represent Sarawak to the Malaysian Robotics Competition 2009. The senior team maintained last years’ 4th place position, losing again to elite teams from SMT Sejingkat (Kuching), SMK Sacred Heart (Sibu) & SMK Bandar Bintulu (Bintulu).

Remarks:
This is the first time MJROBOTICS represents Sarawak, and the team didn’t have any target. This first time selection for the national finals is basically for exposure. The placing of 9th is considered good as the team’s first exposure at national level.
